xThis high-flow humidifier bottle is designed to prevent oxygen users' upper respiratory systems from drying out or becoming irritated during long-term supplemental oxygen therapy. Specifically rated for high flow settings — 6 LPM to 15 LPM. Safe and easy to use.
Constant-flow concentrators only
This humidifier bottle is designed to be used with constant-flow (continuous-flow) concentrators only. Do NOT use with pulse-flow portable concentrators — those deliver oxygen in bursts and aren't compatible with humidifier bottles. If you're not sure which type you have, call us before using. This does not include humidifier tubing.
Compatibility — flow rate range
Designed for 6 LPM to 15 LPM oxygen settings. Compatible with most major constant-flow concentrators including the React Health Platinum 10, Drive DeVilbiss 10L, Philips Millennium M10, and similar high-flow units.
High flow vs. standard — which should you choose?
High flow (this listing, 6-15 LPM) is for patients prescribed higher oxygen levels — typically those using 10 LPM concentrators. Standard flow (separate listing, 1-6 LPM) is for typical 5 LPM home concentrators. Check your prescription before ordering — using a low-flow bottle at high LPM can over-pressurize, and vice versa.
Why use a humidifier bottle?
Long-term supplemental oxygen therapy dries out the nasal passages and upper respiratory tract — leading to bleeding, irritation, and discomfort. A humidifier bottle adds moisture to your oxygen as it passes through, keeping your airways comfortable. Most users at higher LPM settings benefit significantly from running a humidifier.
