xThe React Health (formerly Invacare) Platinum 10 has a specialized inlet filter that stops dust and debris from making it into the machine — and contributes to minimizing operational noise. It's easy to install and replace, located behind the cover on the left side of your machine.
Which part is this?
This is the Platinum 10's inlet filter — a single internal filter behind the left cover, separate from the cabinet filters on the unit's sides. If you need the cabinet filter pair, look for "Platinum 10 Cabinet Filters."
When to replace
Replace the inlet filter when you see visible dust buildup, or as part of annual concentrator maintenance — to keep the Platinum 10 operating at maximum efficiency.
What this filter does
Protection for your machine
Household dust and debris can get into the inner workings of your concentrator and cause damage over time. The Platinum 10's inlet filter keeps these particles out — so the internal components keep running at peak performance.
Cleaner air for you
The filter catches dust and other airborne particles before they reach the oxygen output — so you're not breathing in what the machine catches.
Noise reduction
The inlet filter also helps dampen the machine's operational sound. Oxygen concentrators are inherently quiet, but the filter material absorbs some of the low-level cycling noise inherent to the design.
How to change the filter
- Turn off and unplug your concentrator.
- Remove the cover on the left side of your Platinum 10.
- Remove the old filter from the housing.
- Insert the new filter in its place.
- Replace the cover, plug in, and resume normal use.
