xThe Inogen Output Filter Kit includes everything you need to replace the output filter on your Inogen concentrator — 2 output filters plus the special wrench required to access the filter compartment behind the cannula nozzle. The kit is the first-time purchase you'll need before you can ever replace your output filter.
What's an output filter?
The output filter sits on the oxygen output path between your concentrator and the cannula — preventing micro-particles from being inhaled. It must always be in place while you use your Inogen. Output filters are different from particle filters (which are on the air intake side) and from sieve columns (which do the oxygen separation inside the unit).
Compatibility — select your concentrator
Use the dropdown above to select the variant that fits your Inogen:
- RP-107 kit — fits Inogen At Home, G2, G3
- RP-404 kit — fits Inogen G4, G5
What's in the kit?
- 2 output filters — enough for two annual replacements (about 2 years of supply)
- Filter access wrench — one-time purchase, keep this for life
Already have the wrench from a previous kit? Look for the "Inogen Output Filter 10-pack" — just filters, no wrench, for ongoing replacements.
When to replace
Replace the output filter annually. The output filter must always be in place while you use your Inogen.
How to install the filter
- Turn off and unplug your concentrator.
- Remove the cannula from the nozzle.
- Use the included wrench to remove the cannula nozzle, exposing the output filter compartment.
- Remove the old output filter and dispose of it.
- Insert the new output filter into the compartment.
- Replace the cannula nozzle (snug, but do not over-tighten), reattach the cannula, and resume normal use.
