xThe removable sieve columns for the Inogen One G5 and Rove 6 contain the sieve filters that separate inert gases from room air and concentrate it into medical-grade oxygen. As a general rule, replace the columns yearly to keep your machine producing the right oxygen concentration.
Compatibility — fits two models
This column pair is shared between two Inogen models:
- Inogen One G5 portable concentrator
- Inogen Rove 6 portable concentrator
Not interchangeable with G3, G4, At Home, or other Inogen models — each has differently sized columns.
What's in this pack?
2 sieve columns — a complete set for replacing both at once. (Columns work in alternating cycles, so both should be replaced together to maintain proper oxygen output.)
When to replace
Replace the columns approximately every 12 months for best results.
Your unique usage and environment (home, outdoors, travel) can affect how frequently replacement is needed. Your G5 or Rove 6 will alert you with the "O2 Service Soon" message on the display when the columns need attention.

What sieve columns do
Inside an oxygen concentrator, sieve columns are filled with a molecular-sieve material (typically zeolite) that adsorbs nitrogen from compressed room air. What passes through is the concentrated oxygen your machine delivers. Over time, the sieve material loses its capacity to bind nitrogen efficiently — which is why these columns need periodic replacement to maintain the proper oxygen concentration.
