xThe Inline Water Trap installs in your oxygen tubing line and collects condensation that would otherwise pool inside the tubing — preventing the gurgling, blockages, and inconsistent flow that wet tubing causes. Latex-free and compatible with all standard oxygen tubing.
What's this for?
When you use a humidifier with your concentrator, warm humidified oxygen flows through cooler tubing — and the moisture condenses inside the line. Over time, that condensation pools, restricting airflow and causing gurgling or audible "wet" sounds when you breathe.
The water trap installs inline between your concentrator and your cannula. Condensation collects in the trap (which you periodically empty) instead of in the tubing — keeping your oxygen line clear and dry.
Do you need a water trap?
You benefit from a water trap if you use a humidifier with your concentrator AND notice any of: gurgling sounds in the tubing, audible "wet" breathing, visible water droplets in the line, or restricted/inconsistent oxygen flow.
